BC Technology for Learning Society will be hosting “Share the Love”; a Valentine’s-themed karaoke fundraiser. The event will occur at The Taphouse in Coquitlam from 6-9 pm. $50 tickets include a burger, beverage, and a karaoke song—if you’re so inclined! The venue is open to individuals aged 19 plus.
BC Tech for Learning is a registered charity that takes donated computers from businesses and federal government departments, hires youth interns to refurbish them and redistributes them to families, schools, and non-profits in need. We are raising money to cover our operational costs so we may continue to provide affordable technology to British Columbians in need. Without our services, many would not have a computer at home – a necessary tool now for accessing education, government services, telehealth, communicating with family, and so much more!
