DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of March 8\, International Women’s Rights Day\, we wanted to share with you a friendly moment in French. \nWe propose an evening of exchange and expression around short videos specially selected for the occasion. \nWe will start with a very short documentary; we will take the time to comment together by sharing our points of view. Then we will highlight the great personalities in the history of Francophone women’s rights in Canada: \n\nThérèse Casgrain\, a leading person in the campaign for women’s suffrage in Quebec. She fought against social\, economic and political injustices throughout her life.\nMarie Bourgeois\, a great woman of our province\, she devoted more than twenty-five years of her life to the Francophonie.\n\nFinally\, we will create together a collective flag imagined by the artist Joanne Plourde that will express our emotions and thoughts.
