DESCRIPTION:Coquitlam Heritage Society is celebrating our 40th anniversary in 2024 with our exhibit Retro Reflections. Each room in Mackin House will feature a different display highlighting the history of ourselves and the community. Come view our wonderful toys through the decades In our toy display room. Also\, look back on the history of our programming\, like the Feasts of Coquitlam series\, and see featured items from our extensive collection. Join us as we explore themes of nostalgia and look at how the “good old days” were not necessarily true for everyone. \nOur opening reception will take place on April 11\, from 7pm-9pm. Come dressed in a retro decade of your choosing\, have drinks and snacks as you view the exhibit\, and celebrate with us by contributing your favourite song from your youth to our anniversary playlist. \nFREE.
